PUSCIFER Schedules Los Angeles Concert

TOOL frontman Maynard James Keenan's side project, PUSCIFER, will perform at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, California on April 4.

PUSCIFER made its live debut on February 13 at the The Pearl in the Palms Casino. A number of fan-filmed video clips of the group's performance can be viewed at this location.

PUSCIFER, a loose collective of musicians, performance artists and comedians, performed three shows at the The Pearl — on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (February 13, 14, and 15).

Commented the band in an online posting: "Thank you for all the support at the first shows. We had a blast. Lots and lots and lots of holes and flaws and hiccups. And lots of room for improvement overall, but we feel it went well considering it was our first-ever attempt. This is a work in progress, so expect to see some minor and or major adjustments as time goes forward."

Maynard James Keenan told The Pulse of Radio that he expected all three shows to be very different from each other and from a TOOL show. "As long as we're all communicating on the particular premise of the evening, it should be unique each night," he said. "That's the challenge. The challenge here is not to dig up demons and explore an album that you'll be listening to and playing backwards looking for messages for decades to come. This is more about being in the moment and trying to pull off something that's, in a way, far more volatile than something that's well planned out."

PUSCIFER's debut album, "V Is For Vagina", came out in the fall of 2007, followed last year by a remix collection titled "V Is For Viagra".
